I rarely paint flowers but I had the desire to paint these sunflowers. To me, sunflowers are the symbol of summer.

I still have a little bit of tweaking to do on this painting but for the most part it’s finished!

I really enjoyed painting the dog. He is a lead dog with black paint. The paint had fallen off in many places. The challenge was painting a series of little abstract shapes to create the whole image.
