I had a great time painting this photorealism still life. The striped background with the red and green striped candy and glass atlas jars along with their reflections was a wonderful challenge. I’m pleased with the results.

I always enjoy painting my vintage toys. And this is my first attempt at painting transparent plastic. That is a subject I will be painting again. The foiled eggs? Well, I think I’ve had my fill of them for awhile but I am pleased with they way they turned out.

This is another in my series of striped paintings. Here is a striped bowl with gumballs and a polka dot bowl with peppermints. I got this plate at a thrift store and I believe it is handmade.

My favorite part of the painting is the stripes reflecting in the bowls
